At 12:40 a.m. Easter standard time, June 23rd, my mother’s battle with ovarian cancer finally ended. In July of 2007 she was diagnosed, and fought hard for nearly three years. However, she was unable to conquer the disease, and died in hospice in Orlando, Florida.
